The Zeitgeist is a two-time EWA Champion, two-time Westchester Backyard Champion and one time EWA Tag Team Champion. Now a decorated veteran of this backyard wrestling outfit, The Zeitgeist first appeared in the EWA in 2012, stating his mission as such: To bring change to the EWA.
Prior to joining the EWA, The Zeitgeist made infrequent appearances under various pseudonyms in wrestling promotions in the Chicago area, a city that he says he chose to call home because of the corruption rampant among its political and civil leaders. Not just a wrestler, he considers himself a political activist dedicated to the principles of anarchy, which he believes to be the only path to achieving true justice for all. His core beliefs were forged through the tragic events of his young life. Both of his parents, he would learn later in life, were CIA agents stationed in Afghanistan to carry out counterintelligence efforts during the Soviet Union’s invasion of the country in the 1980s. Amid his parents’ years-long assignment in the hillside border between Afghanistan and neighboring Pakistan, The Zeitgeist was born. However, when the U.S Congress pulled funding for their ultimately successful covert operations, his parents fled the country in short order — unconscionably doing so without their child. Whether intentional or by accident, a young Zeitgeist would survive amongst the tribes governing these mountainous terrains — the same that made the decade-long Soviet invasion a remarkable and inevitable failure.
Using the pain of abandonment, along with the strength of deprivation and utilitarianism required of such an upbringing, The Zeitgeist found his way to the U.S. a man. And not just any man… A man on a mission… A man ready to enact the changing of the climate.
